We are an Australian family business manufacturing three quality products (BaleTime Hay Monitor, BaleTime Flood Irrigation Water Monitor and BaleTimeCombo). Our products work night and day, considerably improving farmers and hay contractors’ efficiency.
Night time- Increase sleep quality and duration, knowing exactly when to attend to the BaleTime Hay Monitor, BaleTime Water Monitor or BaleTimeCombo. Minimise the need for continual checking of water and crop. Day time- Our products allow you to harvest at the optimal time / irrigate with no water wastage and multitask effectively. |
The First BaleTime was completed in 2015As a very respected and successful shearer I have had over twenty years of experience communicating with farmers/hay contractors. Before becoming a shearer, I completed a diploma in Engineering Electronics. After I finished my diploma, I decided to continue with my family tradition and become a shearer. My hope was that one day, I could bring my passion for electronics into the farming industry. In 2012, a farmer/hay contractor asked me to make a product that would tell him when it was time to bale his hay- that's exactly what I did. It worked so well his mates wanted one or two as well. At about the same time another farmer asked me to make a flood irrigation monitor for him, which I also did. After three years, we proudly launched our products in 2015. With both products so well received and highly sought after, I decided to extend our range in 2021 to make a combo. The combo is a product with both a hay and water monitor. I take great pride in assisting farmers to be more efficient, successful and happier in their industry.

Our GoalWe have been continuously changing and improving our products to best suit farmers. Our main objectives are:
*Reliability – Currently, in the rural area the most reliable way is using SMS to communicate over 4G and 3G. (With our newest versions, we have used 4G/3G modem and have designed the hardware so we can upgrade and develop an app if needed. However, SMS is the most reliable at this stage.) *Easy to use- Very easy to send SMS to communicate with the monitor. *Portable- Simply pick up the monitor and place it in the paddock. The Hay monitor has two sensors to plug in. *Flexibility- Everyone is different. Adjustable settings via SMS to suit everyone. Choose any carrier provider and plan you like. |
